We are often told by visitors to our centre how surprised visitors are by the quality of food in Tasmania. Which we think is a little strange!
The thing is, producers in Tasmania go about their business of creating amazing paddock to plate fare, exquisite gin, happy bee honey, award winning whisky, cheese, wines, beers and ciders. All of this, whilst being renowned for seafood such as oysters, crayfish, salmon and abalone. Our producers are quietly proud of the quality of what they create, but they prove it through testimony (and the odd global award).
