Gift Card Terms and Conditions
1. A Tasmanian Travel and Information Centre (“Gift Card”) entitles the holder to goods/services equal to the value on the Gift Card, or the value remaining on the Gift Card after partial redemption;
2. A Gift Card can only be redeemed at the:
a. Tasmanian Travel and Information Centre (the “TTIC”) located at 20 Davey Street, Hobart in Tasmania; or
b. Elizabeth Mall Information Booth located in the Elizabeth Street Mall, Hobart in Tasmania;
3. A Gift Card is redeemable for 3 years from the date of purchase;
4. A minimum of $5.00 AUD can be loaded on a Gift Card when purchased;
5. A Gift Card may not be “reloaded” by additional payments after the purchase of the Gift Card;
6. A Gift Card is partially redeemable;
7. A Gift Card cannot be (wholly or partly) exchanged for cash unless the TTIC considers, in its absolute discretion, that the value remaining on the Gift Card after partial redemption is not sufficient to be reasonably used;
8. Gift Cards are non-refundable;
9. If the order made by the Gift Card holder exceeds the value of the Gift Card, the Gift Card holder will be required to pay the difference in price between the value of the order and the current value of the Gift Card;
10. The value on the Gift Card includes GST;
11. The TTIC retains the right to refuse the redemption of a Gift Card for a good or service on any event ticketing;
12. The TTIC books selected partnering operators only;
13. A Gift Card redemption for any alcoholic products will be subject to the provisions of the Liquor Licensing Act 1990 (Tas), and all other relevant laws and regulations; and
14. The TTIC is not liable for a Gift Card that has been lost/stolen. A lost/stolen Gift Card can only be replaced if satisfactory proof of purchase is provided to the TTIC and the Gift Card has not been redeemed.
