We are a locally based team of friendly experts here to help you plan and book your Tasmanian holiday. Our team is diverse in many ways but at the end of the day, we share a passion for our home and a desire to share it with the world.
Our different personal hobbies and interests mean that we have a huge variety of Tasmanian experiences and we call on each other’s interests several times a day to make sure we can give you the best advice based on what you want from your holiday. Some of us love to bushwalk and can talk your ear off about what to pack (and what not to pack) for the Overland Track, Three Capes or Southwest Track. Others have spent months in campervans, traversing the state as visitors, before a sea change lead them here permanently.
Of course, we wouldn’t be truly diverse if we didn’t have one or two on the team that still believe ‘camping’ comes with a hot shower and five stars… Ask us about your luxury itinerary and you’ll be blown away with what Tasmania has to offer!
You’ll find us in quite a few locations too. Our primary centre is in Davey Street, Hobart, but you’ll also find us at the Elizabeth Street Mall Information Hub.
If arriving into Hobart Airport, you might bump into one of our Meet and Greet volunteers, a friendly group of fellow Tasmanians lending their time to give you a friendly smile and wayfinding advice to help you hit the ground running (or driving). Meet and Greet volunteers are also present at the cruise ship arrivals terminal, MAC2, on cruise ship days.
Throughout our website, you’ll find online booking options as well as other recommendations. You can create your own wish list by using the heart icon and, once you're done, you can send the list to a friend, discuss them together, compare tours and products. You can also send them to us for help in deciding based on your available time, your chosen mode of transport and the aims that you have for your holiday. Once you’ve narrowed down the wish list, we can take the stress away from the trip and book in your must do tours and experiences in order to make sure you don’t miss out through high demand once you’re on the ground. Alternatively, we can make similar suggestions if the timing just doesn’t work out, or you can’t change certain parts of your itinerary.
Our team experiences many of our online tours and accommodation services first hand as we work personally with the operators, which means that you’re able to trust that our advice is based on experience. Better still, we don’t charge a booking fee, and if you find something we don’t have on our website, just shoot us a quick email and chances are that we can work with your preferred operator directly. Just like a travel agent, once your itinerary is complete, we can work with each operator to confirm all of your details and, finally, settle everything in one transaction, rather than many small ones.
Lastly, we’re local. During your holiday, if you do need help for whatever reason, we’re a local phone call away and our small team will answer your concerns. Because we’re small, it’s highly likely that the team member that answered your very first online question three months ago is the very same person that will be on the other end of the phone helping you with whatever you need. This means that they’re fully invested in your Tasmanian holiday and will do whatever we need to in order to make sure that you’re well looked after and more than just happy.
