Located in the original Hobart Gas Company office building at number 2 Macquarie Street in Hobart, the Gasworks Cellar Door is an exclusively Tasmanian wine tasting and retail experience in the heart of Hobart's colourful dock precinct. With 16 Tasmanian wines always on tasting and served from our state of the art temperature controlled Enomatic wine dispensing units, a knowledgeable wine expert will guide you through the ever-changing labels, the stylish interior design and fascinating information about the Island's wines and history; this is no ordinary tasting experience.
Tastings cost $10 and you can select from 3 different styles of tasting experiences. Taste 12 wines (20ml each), 6 wines (40ml each) or 3 wines (80ml each) that are currently on tasting in the Enomatic units. The 12 wines tasting gives you the widest options whilst the 3 wines tasting lets you savour a trio of your choice. But don't forget to give yourself plenty of time as the 12 wine tasting can take up to hour to complete.
Over 400 Tasmanian wines are also available to buy from our online store, supporting more than 81 local vineyards and delivering interstate FREE for any orders of 6 or more bottles.
