Lazy Teas operates at Hawthorn Lodge in Bushy Park, Tasmania.
A very traditional tea room that has become extremely popular as the best cream tea in Tasmania. All served on fine china, award winning home made scones, raspberry jams from Hawthorn Lodge and Tasmanian clotted cream.
In the warmer months tea is served on the veranda overlooking the gardens and in the winter in the cosy lounge with an open fire.
An excellent value High Tea is offered for just $20 making it the best value high tea in Tasmania and a secret locals know about.
Light lunches at just $8 are also provided and make full use of Hawthorn Lodge produce and locally sourced ingredients.
Guests are free to walk around the heritage gardens with the oldest Magnolia in Australia.
Groups are most welcome and able to use the original Hop Pickers Tea Room.
Located in Hawthorn Lodge in the village of Bushy Park some 40 minutes from Hobart. Easy to find as the last building on Glenora Road if coming from New Norfolk.
Lazy Teas makes an excellent stop if heading to or from Mt Field National Park which is very close by.
