Mathinna Falls is a four-tiered waterfall in Tasmania's north-east.
The falls cascade over a total drop of 80 metres - a truly spectacular sight, especially after rain. From the car park, an easy 30-minute return walk leads to the base of the falls but you'll hear the water long before you see it.
To reach the falls, head north from the town of Mathinna towards the Evercreech Forest Reserve.
Mathinna Falls are a 15-minute drive from the town of Mathinna and around a one-hour drive east of Launceston.
