Bangor Vineyard Shed is located on the tourist highway to the Port Arthur Historic Site. 45 mins from Hobart. 35 mins from Port Arthur. We are the only vineyard on the highway between Hobart and Port Arthur offering daily wine tastings, restaurant dining, and wine tours and experiences.
Bangor has stunning views over Blackman and Norfolk Bays, over the vineyard and our farm. Visitors receive a warm country welcome from our staff, and are able to immerse themselves in premium local wine and food while taking in the beautiful Tasmanian vista.
Bangor is a 6,000 ha, fifth generation family property, with 2,000 ha of nature conservation reserves and wetlands, and 35 km of coastline. Caring for the environment is our way of life at Bangor.
Bangor Vineyard Shed is an award-winning Cellar Door and Restaurant located 35 minutes from Hobart Airport and 45 minutes from Hobart CBD, on Tasmania's tourist route to Port Arthur.

Bangor Vineyard Shed is perfectly located on the Arthur Highway (A9), half way along the main tourist route from Hobart to Port Arthur.
We are situated 45 mins from Hobart CBD, 35 mins from Hobart Airport, and 35 mins from the Port Arthur Historic Site. The perfect stop on your day trip to the Tasman Peninsula.
Travelling around Tassie? We are a 40 min drive from the historic town of Richmond. If you are coming down the east coast, we are a 60-70 min drive from Orford.
The nearest small town is Dunalley. To find us coming from Hobart, drive through Dunalley, turn left across the swing bridge over the canal, then drive 1km - you will see our sign on the left hand side of the highway.
Changes and refunds:
Full refund up to 24 hours prior (less 10% if booking via 3rd party). Credit for change of date. Refund less $35 cancellation fee per person for cancellation within 24 hours.
In the unlikely event that Bangor Vineyard Shed need to cancel a tour a full refund will be provided to ticket holders.
Minimum age requirements:
We cannot serve wine to people under 18. This is an 18+ tour. Please bring ID as we may ask to see it if you look younger than 18.
Other requirements:
No pets. No smoking during the tour. No wheelchair access to vineyard for vineyard tours. Ability for light walking needed for tours of the vineyard.

Bangor Vineyard Shed ensures that alcohol served as part of this experience is done so in a responsible manner and in accordance with the Liquor Licensing Act 1990. It is the responsibility of every customer to consume food and alcohol safely according to their individual dietary requirements and medical conditions including any food allergies or intolerances. We discourage any person with a medical condition affected by alcohol or taking medication that is affected by alcohol from consuming alcohol. We discourage pregnant women from consuming alcohol.
